Many of our handmade pieces can be further personalized by hand stamping. This is a process where we use letters, numbers, and symbol tools and hammer them onto the metal surface. Real humans carefully lay out and hand stamp your personalization, then sand and finish the surface to best bring out the details. Hand stamping is deeper than laser engraving.

The result is a warm, hand made look. Hand stamping is a skill performed by an artisan, it is not a machine or laser, so there may be some imperfections visible. We consider this a way of seeing the artist's hand in the process of jewellery making. This hand made look is an integral part of Luxe Design Jewellery. We strive to create jewellery that evokes the warmth of the human spirit and connects the wearer to either their loved ones, or to their own personal symbols and guidance.

When you purchase this, you can add anywhere from 1-3 characters to your piece. Up to 3 characters are included in the price.

Where Can This Be Used?

This is for hand stamped personalization only, not machine engraving. Before purchasing this add-on, please make sure that you can add hand stamped personalization to the piece. This information is found on the product listing itself. If it is not mentioned in the product description, it may still be available, please email us with the style number, and we can confirm if the piece can accommodate hand stamping.

Where Can I Not Add This?

Some pieces are too fragile or too thin to add hand stamping to. In this case, we recommend laser engraving.

How Many Letters Can or Should I Add?

Some personalization is too long to add to some pieces. Less is more. The longer the hand stamping we need to do on tiny pieces, the more room there is for error. Hand stamping is done by hand, not machines, so it lends a handmade warmth, not a laser precision. Often a simple initial or 3 makes a cleaner and more attractive impact on the final piece. Too much lettering can look crowded and take away from the design.

We also offer laser engraving. We also offer many initial charms, name charms, birthstones and symbolic charms that can be added to your pendant to personalize it.

What Letters and Symbols Do You Have?

Characters include A-Z, 0-9, Punctuation and a Heart Symbol in the same set. Please use the "$" where you want a heart to go. Available in Uppercase Only.

We do have additional stamps including a crown, paw, rocket ship, asterisks, and zodiac signs. They are not the same size as the letter stamps sets but can be added by special request. Please contact us to discuss adding any of these symbols.
