HOW IT WORKS
This kit includes material for one fingerprint, and can be used over and over until you get the perfect impression.
CAN I USE THIS FOR BABIES?
Babies and very young children have shallower and less developed fingerprints, so the results vary depending on the fingerprint itself. We recommend getting the first crease where the finger bends into the impression. Some prints may be less visible, but you will have an imprint of your child’s actual finger or big toe regardless. We cast the exact piece you send us so the result is a very personal and warm impression created by the actual touch of your child or loved one.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
3 Weeks. It takes us about 10 business days to create your one of a kind fingerprint jewellery. Shipping times are on top of that. Shipping upgrades are available.
CAN I GIVE THE KIT ITSELF AS A GIFT?
Kids love making these personalized gifts for mom or dad, aunties and grandmothers. You can give the finished jewellery as a gift, or just give the kit itself! It's the perfect baby shower gift. There is nothing to expire in the kit, so the recipient can keep it until they are ready to use it.
CAN YOU PUT A NAME ON THE BACK?
We can hand engrave up to three initials on the back. Due to the delicate nature of the print, we are not able to stamp on the back of the fingerprint pendants. You will receive a form to indicate which initials we should use. You may also add laser engraving for an additional fee.
CAN I USE AN INK FINGERPRINT THAT I ALREADY HAVE?
Not with this kit, this requires an actual finger or toe. For flat ink fingerprints and memorial fingerprints click here.
RESULTS VARY BUT THEY ARE ALL PRECIOUS
When looking at your impressions, bear in mind that the resulting impressions are soft, organic shapes that compliment the unique, natural shape of your own loved one's finger, and your aim is to get a genuine impression not a perfect shape.
