This piece is personalized by hand.

Most of our jewellery can be personalized with hand stamping. Although we are very skilled at this, please keep in mind that hand stamping personalization is added by humans, it is not generated by machines or lasers.

Hand stamped letters are slightly imperfect. Therefore, there may be small variations in the placement or depth of the lettering.
Hand stamped lettering aligns with our design aesthetic of deeply personal, hand made jewellery.
In many aspects of our designs, the artist's hand can be seen or implied. We believe this adds warmth to the look and feel of our jewellery.

Truly One of a Kind: While these are widely available today, letter stamp tools were not easy to find when we started our business. Our first collection of hand stamps was collected by Joanne on a school trip to the Boeing Airplane Factory where they were used to mark airplane parts. Each one was selected for it's font and size to create a complete alphabet, but they were not originally from the same set. We still use these stamps today, and we have added to our very curated collection of hand tools and letter stamps over the years.

This is a thicker version of our Open Rectangle Charm. The added thickness allows us to stamp on the front and the back of the charm. The price of this items includes stamping on the front and the back. n the sample shown, XAVIER is on the Left, and ETIENNE is on the RIGHT side, the layouts indicate the placement of the personalization as you are facing the charm. Please enter your customization for the Front AND the Back of this charm.

Please use the * sign where you would like a dot to appear. If you use any of the following symbols, we will use a centered dot by default: . (period) - (dash) /(slash). so 10/10/2010 will come out 10.10.2010. (but the dots will be centered). Click on picture to view samples and alternate views. This is a thicker version of our Open Rectangle Charm. The added thickness allows us to stamp on the front and the back of the charm. Personalizing the back is optional.

LARGE FONT Characters including spaces are as follows: A B C D E F G H I J K L M N O P Q R S T U V W X Y Z 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0 . & ? We also have a heart symbol. If you want to order it, please use the "$" sign where you would like the heart to appear. You may also mention that you want a heart in the 'additional comments' box. We can make a dash or comma out of our small font letter 'I' but in most cases we feel a dot looks better. Letters are only available in uppercase. It is ok to leave a row blank. We can add personalization in the future. Use an asterisk ( * ) for a dot. We will center it horizontally & vertically. If you want dots in the four corners, only enter them either in the Top & Bottom rows, OR the Left & Right rows. For example, the top row would read " * BOB * " and the bottom row would read " * LOVE * The Right side would read "FAMILY" and the Left side would read "KATHY". The dots will use up two of the 6 available spaces. You would not need to enter the dots again on the Right & Left sides. This will give you dots in all four corners.
